Level 1: Preschool – Beginner Readers
Join us for our first in a series of three summer short courses designed to prepare your little ones for their first year in preschool! Led by experienced preschool teachers, our program provides your child with a comprehensive learning experience that incorporates key skills in literacy, science, math, and socialization.
Course Content
Storytime: Read and discuss “Hello, I am Sam,” a story about self-introduction and socializing. Focus on print knowledge – the book cover. Explore story elements – characters and settings.
Language Arts: Learn about action words, sight words, and the alphabet.
Social Emotional: Explore self-awareness – personal likes and dislikes, introduction and greetings, and the five senses.
Scientific Concepts: Learn about tinkering, taking things apart, and making things out of a box.
Math: Practice counting up to five and learn about basic shapes and colors.

Over 100 pages of engaging and interactive activity slides, practice worksheets, and videos cover literacy, social emotional development, scientific concepts, math, and phonics.
